My client, a well-established global technology consultancy with 7,000 employee’s across the world is seeking a Hands-on Telco Architect to work with their end client, a reputable Telecommunications company.
This will be an outside IR35 position and will be an initial 3 months, however their is a good chance it could be extended multiple times.
To apply for this role, you must come from a Telco background, ideally you woud have worked with Tanzu, however being a new tool, having no experience but a general understanding of it is fine.
Key areas:
- NFV / NFVi strategy, end-to-end design and technical delivery management of the platforms, based around VMware Cloud NFV, vCD, VIO, Tanzu
- Software Defined Data-Centre (SDDC) network and infrastructure design and build – physical (leaf / spine) and virtual routing / switching (NSX-V), vCloud / vCenter / vSphere, VSAN, vROPS, vRNI , SRM etc, multi-tenant, DFW micro-segmentation, F5 load-balancers, HPE / Dell servers, storage.
- Cloud Platform and Network Security – Created Security HLD for SDDC, End-to-end Firewall (Checkpoint physical and NSX virtual) design, SIEM Logging etc
- Design and build of new VMware NFVi tenants via vCenter and vCloud.
- On-boarding of new vApps / VNF’s.
- Support IP core / transport network Team / design (Overlay and Underlay)
- Delivery of technical documentation and presentations to various audiences.
