My client, a well-established provider Insurance company is seeking Security Architect to join their team.
This position will offer a hybrid approach to WFH and office work. It will likely be 3 days in their (London) office and 2 days working from home.
This will be an initial 6 month contract (Outside of IR35) with a view to extend (There may also be an opportunity to move in to a permanent role if that is something that you are seeking).
Key responsibilities:
- Drive and contribute to day-to-day security engineering work in a hands-on fashion.
- Support, coach and develop security knowledge across the IT team.
- Together with other team members, be a driving force and thought leader for designing and implementing a modern, secure, cloud-first IT landscape.
- Support the global legacy remediation program by providing solution engineering and implementation.
- Support and deputise for the CISO as required.
Technical Experience:
- Experience with global Windows-based IT infrastructures.
- Experience with designing and building solutions based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Modern software/hardware provisioning and configuration management (e.g., Intune, infrastructure as code, microservices)
- Experience with SD-WAN and zero-trust networking environments is a bonus
- Good understanding of modern software development practices
- Scripting with e.g., PowerShell or python
Security Experience:
- Experience with Architectural frameworks such as SABSA/TOGAF
- Relevant Security qualification, such as CISSP, CCSK etc.
Compliance Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the Company’s compliance obligations relevant to their role and duties;
- Participate in compliance training as required;
- Use available compliance resources as part of compliance management;
- Report any compliance concerns, issues and failures.
