THE ROLE:
The role will be work as part of the Edge Perimeter Security team responsible for delivery of layer 7 WAF protections across our critical web services. You will work alongside the cybersecurity and application teams to deliver WAF protections for our critical applications, work with vendor Akamai to deliver WAF / BOT protections, develop automation capabilities to reduce infrastructure complexity and manual effort and help with planning, conception and implementation in case of maintenance activities.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have a strong network security engineering background with experience using Bot Security protections, Akamai Kona / Akamai Kona Site Defender, Akamai Prolexic & Radware. Any experience of Load balancer technologies including F5 LTM, GTM and ASM, DNS services (e.g. QIP, Infoblox), Automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, CI/CD, etc. and DevOps tools (e.g. GitHub, Jira, Confluence) would be ideal.
