My client, a leading London based Asset Manager are currently looking for a Front Office Data Analyst to work as part of their Charles River technical support & testing team.
Essential skills
* Front Office data analyst / programme experience in an Investment Management
* Ability to understand a business process and document requirements in a way which is easily understood by other Business Analysts and Developers
* SQL proficient to interrogate data in a meaningful way and interpret results
* Experience of Excel as a tool to analyse complex data sets to identify themes or anomalies
* Working knowledge of security types, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Funds
* Must have the ability to understand and relate data quality, data lineage and metadata
* Knowledge of market data products from providers like Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
* Knowledge of data feeds and daily batch process needed to support a trading platform
