DATA MODELLER – ASSET MANAGEMENT – £90K – LONDON
*Assesses the integrity of data from multiple sources (including, for example, instrument, position, and transaction data).
*Analyses data requirements, to establish, modify or maintain a data model.
*Provides advice on the transformation of data/information from one format/medium to another, where appropriate.
*Maintain all necessary documentation associated with design and data lineage
*Responsible for data mapping market EDF / Portfolio
*Manipulates specific data from information services, to satisfy local or specific information needs.
*Works alongside other members of the architecture team and the business (specifically the office of the CDO) to formulate and implement the current and future data vision
*Works with and influences the standards for data analysis tools and techniques, advises on their application, and ensures compliance.
*Investigates corporate data requirements, and carries out the application of data analysis and data modelling techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of the corporate information requirements, in order to establish, modify or maintain data structures and their associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions).
*Maintains and applies up to date, specialist knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles, and a detailed knowledge of the full range of database architectures, software and facilities available.
*Interprets the model into an appropriate database schema within set policies. Demonstrates, installs and commissions selected products.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
*Knowledge in the definition and creation of JSON based data models
*Appreciation of ETL methods and tools
*Solid Investment Banking Data Modelling experience
